River Rat Wrap Up Chili Cook Off

Judging begins at 3:00 PM
chili must be registered by 2:30

Official Rules:
  1. Chili can be prepared at home ahead of time.
2. Contestants can use any means to make your chili, mixes, chili kits etc.
3. Contestants must be willing to taste their own chili. (If you make 5 alarm chili 
    your gonna burn too)
4. Condiments must be brought by contestant, If you think your chili should be
    served with crackers, you will need to bring them.
5. Bowls and spoons for the judging only, will be provided. Contestants will need
    to provide serving spoons etc.
6. Have Fun!

 (We will have a steam table for up to 8  different chili's, bring a crock pot just in
   case the steam table is full)		  


Judging:
Judging will be done by 3 Judges. Each judge will score your chili individually.
They will be judging on:
  • Taste (25 points possible)
  • Aroma (10 points possible)
  • Appearance (10 points possible)
  • Chili Name (5 points possible)
  • A total of 50 points possible per judge
  • Grand total of 150 points possible
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded prizes

    1st place will have bragging rights for the best chili on the river for a year! So rub it in!!!
